You're the Man!

It's been a great night with ate Lady. When I finished posting my blog last night, I went straight to my room and prepare for an early rest. I'm not really feeling well but thanks to Potencee, you're a real buddy! I lay down on my bed with the TV open (because of Tiray). I scanned channels when ate Lady came in from work. After a few minutes, she asked me to go out with her. Since I can feel some relief because of my buddy, I agreed. We asked Jhei to drive for us. We went to Resort World and that was a great Thursday night! :D

It's almost 4am when we got home. A little chat with Dayak and Pungs then I went to my room again. This time, it's for real, I WILL SLEEP. As same as the other days, I got up from bed at past 12 noon.I ate my lunch alone. This summer break taught me to forget was is BREAKFAST. :(

After eating Mami got a phone call from Dadi's office that we should prepare for today's event: DESPEDIDA party for Dadi. They are not my biological parents. Dadi is my mother's youngest brother and Mami, his wife.

I marked this day a girly day. I wore a floral dress with a Tom's sneakers for my shoes. Thank God that the dress has pink details.

In the party, we witnessed how Dadi was acknowledged and was recognized by his colleagues. He did very well in his field. I am a proud niece!  :) The words they gave Dadi were all short but meaningful. His boss was right in saying that we should be proud for having Dadi in our lives. I also remember what his former mistah and now an enlisted personnel said, "Ever since he started his cadetship, I saw his dedication..." Kuya Pao and I had a great admiration for Dadi. We are all DADI's fan.

After hearing everything, I felt a deep silence. Maybe because I realized, Dadi and Papa are two opposite persons. They are my father-image idols, but they have their own different ways of handling their own families. My Papa is our cook, labandero, driver, carpenter, plumber, mechanic, taga-sundo't hatid and he stays at our house while Mama is at work. On the other hand, Dadi is a working dad. He attends meetings, conferences, briefings, parades, trips, signed up commos, read reports and others. He have little knowledge or even no knowledge on cooking, plumbing and fixing broken things (Peace tayo Dadi! :p ). They are both Fathers in their own capabilities. :D

It's been a fair weather the whole day. My colds were still alive and kicking. I want to thank God for yesterday, and today. I know, You're the man behind what's happening in our lives. Be our guide in reaching our goals.

Heaven-nice day! :)
