It's been a great night with ate Lady. When I finished posting my blog last night, I went straight to my room and prepare for an early rest. I'm not really feeling well but thanks to Potencee, you're a real buddy! I lay down on my bed with the TV open (because of Tiray). I scanned channels when ate Lady came in from work. After a few minutes, she asked me to go out with her. Since I can feel some relief because of my buddy, I agreed. We asked Jhei to drive for us. We went to Resort World and that was a great Thursday night! :D
It's almost 4am when we got home. A little chat with Dayak and Pungs then I went to my room again. This time, it's for real, I WILL SLEEP. As same as the other days, I got up from bed at past 12 noon.I ate my lunch alone. This summer break taught me to forget was is BREAKFAST. :(
After eating Mami got a phone call from Dadi's office that we should prepare for today's event: DESPEDIDA party for Dadi. They are not my biological parents. Dadi is my mother's youngest brother and Mami, his wife.
I marked this day a girly day. I wore a floral dress with a Tom's sneakers for my shoes. Thank God that the dress has pink details.
In the party, we witnessed how Dadi was acknowledged and was recognized by his colleagues. He did very well in his field. I am a proud niece! :) The words they gave Dadi were all short but meaningful. His boss was right in saying that we should be proud for having Dadi in our lives. I also remember what his former mistah and now an enlisted personnel said, "Ever since he started his cadetship, I saw his dedication..." Kuya Pao and I had a great admiration for Dadi. We are all DADI's fan.
After hearing everything, I felt a deep silence. Maybe because I realized, Dadi and Papa are two opposite persons. They are my father-image idols, but they have their own different ways of handling their own families. My Papa is our cook, labandero, driver, carpenter, plumber, mechanic, taga-sundo't hatid and he stays at our house while Mama is at work. On the other hand, Dadi is a working dad. He attends meetings, conferences, briefings, parades, trips, signed up commos, read reports and others. He have little knowledge or even no knowledge on cooking, plumbing and fixing broken things (Peace tayo Dadi! :p ). They are both Fathers in their own capabilities. :D
It's been a fair weather the whole day. My colds were still alive and kicking. I want to thank God for yesterday, and today. I know, You're the man behind what's happening in our lives. Be our guide in reaching our goals.
Heaven-nice day! :)

It's approximately five days before my semester starts. Texts messages were still confusing because Independence day falls on a Sunday, and everybody's waiting for an extra holiday like the previous administration did. So we(my Sisters and I) are still waiting for last minute announcement for changes though I am not affected if the classes starts on Monday because MONDAYs,FRIDAYs, SUNDAYs are my rest days. :) I still need to check the changes regarding my Saturday classes.
*crossed fingers* It can't be. That would supposed to be plenty long weekends this semester right? HAHA. Three days in a week classes, isn't it wonderful? :D
My cousin already had her classes yesterday despite of the bad weather. College students are considered Waterproof People. Classes will only be cancelled if and only if, the location will be listed under SIGNAL NO.3. :(
I left my bed around 12noon. The air conditioner was turned off but it is still cold. The rain had stopped but the wind was not yet calm. Scheduled tasks were cancelled. I've waited for my cousins to wake up earlier than their usual time but unfortunately, they woke up late. They got up from their beds at around 3pm consequently had their beauty rituals. I'm stocked. Kuya Bryan was not around, no one knows how to drive manual cars, so we just stayed inside the house.
I'm starting to sneeze. I'm not feeling well today. Maybe because I wasn't able to attend the scheduled mass that we were supposed to attend. I just remember my grade school teacher once said, never ever promise to attend mass if you're not 100% sure that you can or else, you will be sick. (Maybe this is the proof for that.)
We had salmon for our dinner and some pancakes afterwards. I finished my food ahead of them because I am watching 100 days. I was touched when little Ana was visited by the gate keeper of heaven before she went to sleep. She chased the smoke and talked to it asking for extension. She only have 80 days left in fulfilling her mission. Unfortunately, NO EXTENSIONS.
I'm frozen. I cannot move properly. I need to have my early rest. I'm wishing everyone...
Heaven-nice day! :)

Life is too short for those who ask for more, but it is more than enough for those who are contented on what they have.

As usual, I woke up late. It's already past 10am when I got up from bed this morning. I felt it was colder than the usual mornings here in Manila. There's no trace of sunlight coming from the window. I left my bed unfixed since I still feel sleepy. I had plans of continue my sleeping hours since I am collecting EXTRA energy for this coming semester.
I went downstairs to check food. I wasn't able to eat well since Mami was entertaining her visitor. I was not sure if they already take their snacks so I control my hunger. I reserved extra space in my tummy for lunch time. (Babawi ako!)
I received a call from 'Mr Bean' aka Ka Teddy. I need to go outside to fixed the network signal since I am using Sun Cellular. It's raining cats and dogs. We weren't able to talk properly because of the rain and the voices became unclear. He decided to call on my Globe number. And there comes the joke, "Walang signal ang Sun pag umuulan. Wala kasing araw!" :)
After the call, I went back to my room and switched on the TV. Last 2 minutes for the third quarter game between Miami Heat and Dallas Mavericks for Finals. The game ended with the score of 83-86 in favor of Mavs giving them the draw standing of 2-2. Jokes didn't missed the fire set on basketball games:
"Para kang NBA Finals, maDALLAS pa din kitang iniisip kahit na MIAMI ka nang ipinalit." :p
We had monggo beans for lunch. I lost count of how much rice I ate. It was still one of my favorite dish even I got warnings that it is not good for my knees. :D
I checked Yum-mimi's Diary for today and I decided to create my own online account to keep in touch with our stories day by day while she's in Spain. This would be the start of NOSEBLEED moments. :))

Rain didn't stopped (or even take a little rest) the whole day. The water keeps on falling. It was now colder. But I still wish everyone...
Heaven-nice day! :)
